Who is it for?

  • Children
  • Parents
  • School teachers
  • Police Liaison Officers

To become involved a school must register and receive a password, access to the full site is only through this password.

What we offer:

Open area for all to access includes sample pages from the site, picture gallery of some of the children's artwork, sponsors list and contacts for educationalists and the police.

Password area allows lessons plans to be printed off, notice board for children to exchange ideas, links to other useful sites

A growing bank of lesson plans for the class teacher, police liaison officers and ideas for children to discuss.

There is a scrolling notice board for children to contribute to a discussion

Suggestions for projects in your local area which involve children and schools.

How will it grow?

Schools and Police Liaison Officers are invited to contribute to the site by submitting their lesson plans and project ideas. The best of these will be displayed and the very best will be awarded prizes.

The project is divided into changing themes. The themes children are being asked to contribute to for the Spring Term is "Bullying". Summer term we shall be looking at 'Stranger, Danger?'.

It is hoped that the site will grow rapidly as more and more Primary Schools develop citizenship programmes. Children will be able to see their work on the net as we update our gallery monthly.

We shall be developing a celebrities page where popular figures will give their reasons on why being a good citizen is so important.

How can you help?

At the moment we have a number of celebrities waiting to be added to this site. We shall be regularly updating that and other pages. Be involved and join in our community.
