My favourite place is my Grandma and my Granddad’s house in the village. It was built many years ago. My Granny, my Granddad, my aunt, my father and many other relatives built it. There is a garden, a kitchen-garden, a pond, a shed, barths, flowerbeds, a sportsground for volleyball and basketball and a forest near the house. Every weekend I come here. My family and I celebrate here all the holidays. In summer we place a big table in the garden and fry shashliks. In winter we lay the table in the house. My Granny planted many different flowers on the flowerbeds: asters, roses, pansies, gladiolus, chrysanthemums and many other flowers. It is beautiful when the flowers are in blossom. In spring my Granny plants different vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbages, carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic. In autumn we gather the harvest. I help my Granny in the kitchen-garden. Raspberry bush and brambles grow near the house. I like to eat those tasty berries. Sometimes my friends come to my Grandma’s house and we play volleyball and basketball because there is a good sportsground for ball games. My Grandma and Granddad have a dog called Grey. I enjoy playing with him. There is a big lake hot far from my Granny’s house. In summer I swim and sunbathe there. In autumn my parents and I gather mushrooms and berries in the forest near the house. In winter we make snowmen, play snowballs, ski, sledge and decorate a fir tree which grows in the yard. In spring apple- trees and cherry trees in Granny’s garden are blooming and it becomes beautiful. A family of ducks comes to the pond every spring. There are fish in the pond. My Dad, my Granddad and I go fishing there. In winter the pond is frozen and I like to skate there.
