These projects are examples of present-day practice in Primary schools. They come under the umbrella of Citizenship, whereby children work collaboratively to enhance their relationships and improve their surroundings. Feel free to send in details of your project to Liam McGurrin at liam@mcgurrin.freeserve.co.uk, and it will be added to the site.
We are all connected.
Whatever happens to us, happens to the earth.
Whatever happens to the earth,
happens to us too.

We are the students of Global Virtual Classroom 16. Our project has opened our eyes to the crisis that our world is facing. We have learned many different things about climate change, pollution and global warming and the effects of these on our mother Earth. Even though we're worlds apart, in St. Elizabeth School, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Yizai Elementary School, Tainan City, Taiwan and St. Therese Education Center, Parkville, Missouri in the U.S.A. we all have the same goals:
We want to educate ourselves and others about this crisis.
We want to be able to understand the problem.
We want to be able to come up with our own ideas to help our world.
And above all we want to share what we have learned, and invite you to help us with our Mission Possible as it is not too late, "Our World is in Our Hands!
In our own communities we try to be green heroes and do our part to help the environment. You don't have to do big things to be a green hero. You can do small things which if every one does, it will make a BIG thing...one small step at a time.
Explore our website! We want to share what we have learned and challenge everyone to help us with our Mission Possible as it is not too late to heal our mother Earth.
